How do I download media from putfile?
Windows users:
- Click on the link and when the put file page opens right-click
on the video window
- Select properties and copy the http address
- Paste the http address into your browser's address bar
- Windows Media Player will open up
- Use the file menu to save the file to your hard drive
Mac users:
- Move your mouse over the link
- Press and hold down your Ctrl button
- Select "Save to disc" on the pop-up menu
If these don't work try this instead:
- copy the putfile address
- go to keepvid.com
and paste the putfile address into the textbox at the
top of the page
- select putfile from the drop down list
- click on download
- wait for a moment and the page will refresh with a new
link at the top
- right-click on the link and select save target as
the video should start downloading
How do I download media from megaupload?
- Wait for the counter at the top of the page to count
45 seconds
- When 45 seconds is up the text will change to 'download
file'
- Click on this and the file will start downloading
Why won't megaupload work for me?
Disable any download accelerators, which should help in
most cases, also make sure JavaScript is enabled.
Other possibilities: You may be using AOL, which does not
offer a real internet connection.
Why don't you host clips on your site?
I try to host clips when I can, especially new ones, but
this eats up my bandwidth and means the site has to go offline
for a period of time, which means noone can get access to
the clips.
Therefore I have had to upload a large number of clips
to putfile if they are under 10Mb and megaupload if they
are over 10Mb.
Do I need to register in the gallery?
No, unless you want to submit pictures of your own, such
as fanart.
If you just want to browse, feel free. But if you take
any pictures, please say where you got them.
How can I add my fanart to the gallery?
I welcome any contributions of fanart, such as wallpapers,
banners or icons. To do this just follow the steps below:
- Clink on the gallery
link
- When on the gallery page, click on the link upload
file
- Complete the details with your username, password and
email address
- An email will be sent to the email address that you
specified, click on the activation link and to complete
your registration.
- Click on the Login link and enter your username and
password.
- You can now upload your work, by clicking on the upload
file link.
