Biography:
Jennifer Beals was propelled to overnight stardom when she
starred in the hit 80s film Flashdance back
in 1983, but she shyed away from fame and decided to continue
her education at Yale instead, whilst fitting in roles in
films such The Bride co-starring with Sting.
Since then she has been busy earning herself a reputation
as an 'independant darling' taking leading roles in acclaimed
independent flms such as Devil in a Blue Dress
(1995), and The Last Days of Disco (1998).
She was married to director Alexander Rockwell in 1986, but
they divorced. She is now married to 'Ken'. |
