Bette engages in a battle with the chairman of the gallery board who wants to close down the gallery, so she decides to travel to Santa Barbara to ask for funding for the gallery. Meanwhile, Alice rekindles her relationship with Gabby, despite the objections of her friends, Jenny tries to deny her feelings for Marina, and Dana finally gets a date with Lara.
